Sophisticated & Metropolitan Kitchen Bishops Stortford
As part of an open-plan living area, it was vital that the style of this new Bishops Stortford kitchen complemented that of the rest of our client’s home. The other challenge facing this kitchen renovation was the period features of the room, for example, the beautiful chimney breast, high ceilings and large window.
Elegant slim shaker cabinetry in Farrow & Ball’s Shaded White formed the basis of our design. The subtle classic detailing and graceful colour choice bring an effortlessly sophisticated and timeless feel to the space. Though traditional in style, the beautiful cabinetry pairs seamlessly with some of the more contemporary urban features of the design, such as the freestanding brushed chrome refrigerator, the sleek mixer tap, modern bar stools and on-trend gold handles. Together these details contribute to the fantastically chic atmosphere.
In terms of addressing the original characteristics of the property, we took great care to centralise the island in front of the chimney breast to create a cohesive sense of symmetry and balance. Bespoke furniture built into the alcove maximises the space and makes for an attractive feature. We also crafted custom height wall units to accentuate the gorgeous high ceilings. We dedicated meticulous attention to detail to establish a breath-taking Bishops Stortford kitchen that exceeded our client’s expectations in every way.
Stylish Ultra-Modern Kitchen St Neots
The brief for this stunning St Neots kitchen undeniably allowed our designers to embrace their creativity. Our clients were keen to realise a sleek and stylish modern interior. However, they were also looking for something that expressed their vibrant and fun-loving personality. Our designers set to work creating a truly original and exquisite contemporary kitchen.
Flawless yet distinctive, a gloss handleless cabinet style was an obvious choice for our St Neots clients. We always knew that lighting would play an important role in this space, and opting for a black gloss door finish was the perfect way to accentuate the warm glow from the various points of illumination.
Introducing a dramatic woodgrain accent alongside a showstopping veined marble worktop on the kitchen island establishes a showstopping luxurious focal point to the space. The rich oak texture emphasised by the integrated lighting brings the wonderful warmth and character that our clients were looking for.
Combining an eclectic range of textures and surface finishes with beautiful lighting and a series of bespoke features, this finished space achieves something really rather special. Needless to say, our St Neots clients were delighted with the result.
Luxurious Barn Conversion Newmarket
This breath-taking Newmarket barn conversion provided a beautiful space to work with. The spectacular architectural structure clearly demanded an equally exceptional kitchen to go with it.
The gorgeous oak beams are undeniably the star of the show in this room, and thus we felt it was important to create a kitchen design that would complement rather than detract from the remarkable features of the space. A classic shaker cabinet style flat-painted in a graceful Gransden Grey references the age of the original property without looking out of place in the modern conversion. Majestic corner pillars and a beautiful mantle add an unmistakable touch of luxury.
The pale grey tone accentuates the light and bright atmosphere, emphasising the elegance and grandeur of the space. An exquisite marbled Silestone worktop with flawless edge detailing provides a final subtle flourish to this remarkable Newmarket kitchen. Complete with cutting-edge appliances, our Newmarket clients were blown away with their finished space.
